Frage Zetor 6211 Speedometer

Hi all,

I am wondering with regards to the speedometer, when i push down key in normal position (no lights on) the speedometer goes up to between 10 and 15 km/h and then if i turn the key to turn on the lights it goes all the way to the end of the readings?

Is the normal - surely not ?

Any ideas, short to ground, poor connections ??
I'm quite sure they speedometer is original

Since we don't know what your electrical system looks like, little can be said.

One thing is certain, however, it is not normal!
Take the circuit diagram and then first check the 3 or 4 cables between the signal generator and the speedometer. Also check whether there is a short to ground there.

In saying you don't know what my electrical systems looks like, is it pictures you need ? - under the dashboard ?

I don't think any cables have ever been replaced or any alterations to the wiring from standard

Also would you have a wiring diagram of a 6211 Joachim?
