Frage Zetor 6211 - Air Pressure Gauge

Hi all,

I was reading through Joachim's walkthrough of troubleshooting the air pressure system. Very helpful

I then had a question or two.

Where do I go to relieve the air pressure in the system?

How do I refill the system ( start tractor ?) Is there a regulator in the system to ensure its not over-pressurized?

What should the reading be on the gauge when working normal?

Are the 2 connection sensor's polarity sensitive?

Yes - naturally.

Is there a regulator in the system to ensure its not over-pressurized?

Really now? So if you can't find the pressure reducer, you'd better not screw on the brake system yourself or on your own.

What should the reading be on the gauge when working normal?

6,5 bar

Are the 2 connection sensor's polarity sensitive?

No, but works only when you connect it the correct way.

Is there any + and signal indication on the sensor or just try one way and change if not working?

Does it take long to build to 6.5 bar?

I have since done a bit of checking at the tractor on this subject.

I found the two cables to my encoder / air pressure sensor were broken, so repaired them and connected them to the sensor and swapped them other way around

At the gauge once key is pushed down it automatically goes all the way past 10 and off scale.

I have tested both cables to sensor for short to ground but nothing, they seem clear.

I disconnected sensor cable at gauge and just left in earth and + 12V and touched sensor pin with a good ground and didn't move at all from reading off scale above 10.

Here is a picture of a back of gauge wiring.

Blue is + 12V
Grey is Earth
Green is sensor cable back from earth

Brown is just lamp 12V

Also I have checked the continuity of green cable back from sensor to gauge and it's fine.

Is my gauge faulty? - would like to clear or eliminate that before seeing if it's sender

Hi again, back to this thread. Today without warning, the low air pressure warning light came on. I have checked the cables to the pressure sensor, they are fine, signal cable not damaged or broken. It's getting an earth via wire [2 wire version]

Note : If I disconnect the signal wire from the pin on the pressure sensor, light goes off.
Does this point to sensor itself or any ideas for me.

first - the better place für help in english will be since last year septembre th good old forum under www.Zetorworld.com after the great relaunch. Try it, Iam also at zetorworld.com as admin, many english speaking Zetor fans also.

Is the air pressure enough?
Do you have check it manualy with a analog pressure gauge?

The sensor with 2 wires have one for alarm by under 5.5 bar (I think so) and the other for the electric pressure gauge.
Do you have checked the gauge?
Do you have try it with a new wire for testing?

No I'm unsure how this is done.

The sensor with 2 wires have one for alarm by under 5.5 bar (I think so) and the other for the electric pressure gauge.

I thought the 2 wires version were where one is the earth and one is the signal wire.

The gauge hasn't worked for some time. It is on a list of stuff to fix. It is permanently deflected to the right - offscale

Do you have try it with a new wire for testing?

Run a temporary wire from sensor to warning light to test ?
